How to book your bike in

My workshop uses an appointment system for my services, for which your bike needs to be with me by 10am on the day of the booking.

I save a small amount of time each day for standalone or emergency repairs which are based on a first come first served basis. I do not take advance bookings for these, just bring your bike in and I'll get you back on the road as soon as I can.

When you arrive

I will personally assess your bike when you drop it off and give you an estimated price, so you can be assured of no hidden costs.

If parts need to be ordered in, I will advise you of this.

If you are dropping off a standalone repair, I will give you an estimated date of completion, depending on parts required and work load at that time.

You will be called on the given contact number if I notice further issues during the service / repair.

A text will be sent on completion.

Bike MOT

Adult £60

Child £40

Recommended every 6 months.

Childs price is for a bicycle without gears.

As with a car MOT, no parts are replaced on this service.

• Seat post removed, cleaned and refitted.
• Headset and handlebar assembly safety and torque checked.
• Tyres checked for wear and inflated.
• Cranks and pedals torque checked.
• Brakes safety checked and realigned.
• Chain wear checked, gearing indexed and lubricated.

Service

Standard £100

Plus brake bleeding £130

Recommended every 6-12 months.

My middle of the road, most popular service. 

This service is required for parts to be replaced or to remedy a specific issue.

• Frame and forks assessed for damage.
• Chain, cassette and chainset degreased.
• Truing and tensioning of wheels.
• Tubeless sealant refresh.
• Target a specific single issue.

Road and hardtail £200

TT and full suspension £220

Recommended every 12-18 months.

The full works where anything goes.

I book out a whole day just for you and your bike so that it can be returned to you better than new!

Pivot bearing replacement

Recommended every 12-18 months. Full suspension frame pivot bearings are often an overlooked essential bike component. Being exposed to dirt, water, sand and other abuses, over time your rear suspension will start to stiffen up and you may experience excessive play. Fitting price is £160 and includes setting up all the components that need removing to complete the job.

Invisiframe protection

Available for road and mountain bikes. Invisiframe kits are all cut to order for each bike make, model, size, and paint finish and because of this, all Invisiframe kits are subject to payment in advance. I will send you a secure payment link through my card provider.

Actual fitting cost is £160 and payable on collection of your bike.
